Five new spaces upcoming
We're always on the look out for new IC spaces, supporting indie workers to work closer to home. Here's a run down of some upcoming locations.
Crymych: Canolfan Clydau
Open now
This new space is based in Canolfan Clydau. It has 4 desks, a meeting room for up to 10 inclusive of flipcharts and whiteboards, and a reception area. There's also kitchen facilities available to hire for budding chefs and those in the catering business. There's no public transport nearby, but there is a large free carpark with ample space! Canolfan Clydau is only 800 meters from the Butchers Arms pub, which opens at 6pm - perfect for an afterwork pint!
Riverside: Wyndham Street Diner
Launching Monday 24th September
This space will have 3 desks available from w/c 24th September, Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm. Like all Indycube coworking spaces it offers free tea/coffee and wifi. The Diner is a busy community building which is home to training, community meetings, catering businesses and cookery classes. Indycube is particularly proud that, like our spaces in places such as Barry, Porth and Blaenau Ffestiniog, the income will be split with community building landlords, in this instance SRCDC, in the year of its 40th birthday, providing them with an additional income stream to continue their Community Development activities.
Hack Oldham
As well as coworking, Hack Oldham is equipped with workshop, laser cutter, vinyl cutter, 3D priner, large format printer, and dalek. There's a pub across the road, a shopping centre nearby, as well as cinema and restaurants. We'll be holding a launch event at 6pm on October 17th - pop by for a cup of coffee and a chat with Jo.
Newtons of Bury
We're launching this space in association with Newtowns of Bury, Bury's first coworking space. Located in a beautiful Georgian building which has been a doctor's surgery and a furniture workshop in its time, the place is absolutely gorgeous. We'll be holding a launch event at 6pm on October 18th - come along if you're in the area and say hello!
Abergavenny: Black Mountains

This one is pretty cool - a 21st century office in a timeless setting! In association with Like Work, But Different, we've got a few desks in a newly converted agricultural barn set in 45 acres of the Black Mountains, surrounded by trees, mountains and wildlife. The building is carbon negative, with all power generated onsite from Micro-Hydro and Solar PV installations plus Biomass fuel heating system. With use of outdoor work spaces, this is the ultimate green desking experience. There's 1 main space plus 2 break out rooms, one of which is a large kitchen. There's also showering facilities and free on-site parking.
